New portal amnesty.org.pl has been developed to answer the growing demands of Amnesty International Poland (AI) for advanced tool for publishing, managing and presenting considerable amount of data in real time. Implementation of eZ publish Content Management System gave new quality – since then people who lack expertise in the Internet technologies have been able to develop and supervise this considerable web site.

WebStyle Systems have adjusted eZ publish to the portal functionality requirements imposed by AI:

  • portal division into three parts: public, internal - only for members of the Board and other AI registered members and administrative for administrator and editors.
  • developed system of control of authorizations for editors (each editor is responsible for a given portal department)
  • possibility of portal structure building, adding/modifying of new articles and information and download files management
  • WYSIWYG text online editor
  • easy content transfer (copy and paste) from Word, PDF, HTML.
  • dynamically generated navigation elements (the system immediately detects portal structure changes in main menu and submenu, navigation path, site map, etc.)
  • e-bulletin enabling registration and choice of preferences by users
  • contact forms (you can return your membership declaration and petition online)
  • graphics unification – website templates based on AI head office website (www.amnesty.org)
  • powerful search engine and file archive

Integration of all AI documents, rationalization of publishing and tools that make automatic the contacts between AI members within Poland are three basic advantages for Amnesty International Poland.

The site is in Polish only.
